Chalet Cooks and Hosts

We require Chalet Cooks and Hosts to run our catered chalets to our very high standards, always going above and beyond. We are looking for established couples & motivated individuals who excel in a hospitality environment, are passionate about food and the mountain.

Job Description:

This is a really important role within our company as our guest’s holiday enjoyment comes down to the team in the chalet. It’s also a great opportunity to meet lots of interesting people! We don’t necessarily look for trained chefs, but individuals with a passion for food and an eye for presentation. With support from our central kitchen, the chalet host will be responsible for the preparation & serving of breakfast hot options, afternoon tea and 3 course evening meals as well as any children’s meals required. They will also be responsible for daily cleaning of the chalet communal areas and bedrooms, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests and the weekly changeover of the chalet.

Skills Required:

  • Prepare and serve delicious evening meals for up to 15 people.
  • Cook to order hot tasty breakfast options
  • High level of customer service – hospitality/catering/customer service experience is a must!
  • Positive attitude, happy to work hard and patient
  • Love of the mountains – tell us about your skiing or snowboarding experience
  • Self sufficient and assertive
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly proficient at cleaning to maintain our high standards of cleanliness in the chalets
