Treeline Chalets are looking for a mature and responsible team of drivers to join our awesome team this winter. The driving roles available are varied and play an essential role both to our guests and fellow staff members. We are looking for established motivated individuals who excel in a hospitality environment with a love for the mountains.

 

Role Overview: 

We expect our drivers to go above and beyond, always demonstrate mature driving skills, be presentable and guest facing and helpful to all staff members. Great communication and time management are all essential attributes for the role. The successful candidates will also have an interest in food, a team spirit and a love of the mountains!

There are 3 types of driving roles available, all driving roles will involve driving resort shuttles for guests and general housekeeping across our properties. The roles will be generally working on split shift hours, covering the day shift a couple of days per week – giving maximum opportunity for time on the mountains.

Head Driver

The Head Driver manages the team to ensure guest satisfaction, smooth coordination of deliveries, and excellent maintenance standards. Reporting to the Resort Manager, the Head Driver will lead by example, and create a cohesive team, focussed on service levels and efficiency. Our Head Driver will be very much a part of the team, jumping in to help and problem solving daily.

Driver/Delivery

We are looking for candidates who will support the kitchen team with their delivery of delicious homemade food, alongside the resort driving duties.  The role involves making timely deliveries of catered and flexi catered meals across our portfolio, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times. The successful candidate may also be responsible for the control of various stock items, and their distribution across the chalets, and supporting the kitchen as required.

Driver/Maintenance

We are also looking for driving candidates who will provide maintenance across our portfolio of properties, alongside the resort driving duties.  The role will require self time management and will involve responding to call-outs and maintenance issues as and when they arise. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the control of various stock items, and their distribution across the chalets, and supporting the kitchen as required. Excellent maintenance skills are a must.

All driving roles are flexible and the successful candidates will be required to help in all chalets as required so a team attitude is essential.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 year driving experience
  • Key team player
  • Responsible for your designated vehicle: maintain fuel, windscreen wash, anti-freeze and oil levels and keep clean and tidy at all times, and ensure snow chains are in working order.
  • Accurately Pack and deliver food boxes to clients chalets
  • Maintain Delivery paperwork and food safety procedures whilst delivering food
  • Able to confidently and efficiently deal with maintenance issues across our property portfolio
  • Excellent customer service experience 
  • Highly proficient at cleaning to maintain our high standards of cleanliness in the chalets as required
  • French language skills a benefit for dealing with third party suppliers in the event problems can’t be fixed in house
  • Positive attitude, happy to work hard and flexible attitude
  • Love of the mountains
  • Self sufficient and assertive
  • Attention to detail
