Mountain biking (VTT)

Morzine, part of the awesome Portes du Soleil, offers mountain bikers thousands of kilometres of downhill & cross-country trails, an extensive lift system specially adapted to carry bikes, sunshine (it gets very hot!) and stunning scenery!  The summer lifts are open from June until early September and lift passes can be bought daily or weekly at the local lift pass offices.

The season kicks off with the annual PassPortes du Soleil event in June with the whole area open for bikers & you can ride the whole 80 km circuit. Tickets become available for this event around March time & it gets booked up very quickly! An event not to miss!

Nearly all Treeline Chalets’ summer chalets come equipped with secure bike storage & hoses are installed where possible for cleaning those bikes (& bikers)! We are happy to recommend bike hire partners (with a discount) and guides for those guests who are new to the sport.
