Role Title: Self Catered Resort Manager

Location: Morzine, France

Summary of the Role

To ensure all self catered properties are run and operated smoothly on a weekly basis, working very closely with all of the management team to help provide the best holiday possible for all our guests. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for our self-catered portfolio, from communicating with owners to ensuring consistent high standards from the cleaning team, and liaising with guests to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction. 

The role is diverse so a degree of flexibility will be required. Great communication and organisational skills, delegation and time management are all very important attributes for the job. The successful candidate will also be able to speak French at an intermediate to advanced level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, working closely with all of the management team to help provide the best holiday possible for all our guests.
  • Be the main point of contact for the seasonal cleaning team. Manage and coordinate a cleaning rota for the team, anticipating and preparing for busy periods in advance. 
  • Help out with cleaning on busy changeover days, and during the week as required.
  • Day to day management of the seasonal resort teams including being ‘on call’ and managing the ‘on call’ rota.
  • Support with the training of seasonal staff and seasonal set ups and close downs
  • Ambassador for Treeline Chalets throughout resort
  • Maintain relationships with property owners, anticipating their needs during visits to resort and keeping records of chalet specific requirements. 

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Love of the mountains and a passion for hospitality
  • Highly organised and details orientated with the ability to work independently, with good time management skills and great communication.
  • Previous administrative and line management experience
  • Calm under pressure, and able to handle multiple situations simultaneously
  • Able to delegate, provide feedback and develop strong relationships with the team
  • Keen to take ownership of and pride in your work, a rollup-your-sleeves attitude to seeing work through and delivering results.
  • Enthusiastic, confident and kind, you want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun with it along the way.
  • Business French and English, Ideally B1 level or above preferable
  • High level of computer literacy, and experience.
  • Full clean Drivers Licence held for min. 3 years
