Summer Itineraries: Tots Explore

Our team has put together some suggested itineraries so that you can make the most of your summer stay in Morzine…

Keeping under 5’s entertained is a big job, but luckily in Morzine, there’s so many activities available for under 5’s with many free or included in the Portes du Soliel Multi Pass.

Many of our year round team have kids, and we know what it takes to keep them happy and entertained – so we have put our best ideas together in an example itinerary of activities for littlies…

TOTS EXPLORE

  • Day 1: Morzine Day – head to the town square, where there’s usually activities put on, such as large sand pits, games and so on, along with a retro carousel. For lunch or snacks, the Colibri has a fab indoor play kitchen and La Cendree has a trampolines, slides & outdoor games to keep the little ones entertained!
  • Day 2:  Head up to the playground at Lake Montriond, and enjoy an amble around the shore and duck spotting. You can also play mini-golf and have a pony ride, as well as lunch at Hotel du Lac.
  • Day 3: Visit the fabulous goat village for lunch and goat stroking, then take a stroll up to Brochaux waterfall from Lindarets bowl. This short, relatively flat (apart from an uphill to start!) hike is perfect for older family members too. Lindarets bowl also has a shallow stream for paddling and more restaurants, plus you can watch the mountain bikers descents.
  • Day 4: Take the Super Morzine or Pleney gondolas up to explore the plateaus on foot, and have a high-altitude picnic with incredible views.
  • Day 5: Morzine pool boasts a shallow pool for budding swimmers, as well as an outdoor play area and indoor and outdoor ‘play’ pools. There’s also a bouncy castle and the restaurant has a snack menu with light bites for kids, and a huge selection of ice creams!
  • Day 6:  Dereches park- head for a walk along the river, pet (or ride!) the ponies and enjoy the play area. Indiana Aventures (tree climbing and obstacle courses) has a young children’s route, for children as young as 2. Marvel as your toddler clambers through tunnels and across low bridges, although you may have to help them with the clips!
