Tour de France arrives!

Morzine was buzzing with excitement last Saturday as we awaited the arrival of the Tour de France cyclists from their long ride over the mountains from Megeve. Everyone looked the part in yellow hats and the red and white spots which signal the winner of the mountain stage, even the pavements had been painted!

The weather didn’t hold back the professionals as they came tearing down the Joux Plane at around 70km an hour. It was a great event and an amazing atmosphere, especially as Chris Froome came flying past, securing his title for the 3rd time!
