WEEKEND of WINNERS at Freeze Festival

This weekend saw a banging start to the winter at the Relentless Freeze Festival by our Brit boys. We went on down to Battersea Power Station, London to brave the FREEZING weather and support the team hitting the MASSIVE booter.

Westbeach skier, Murray Buchan transferred his half pipe skills to the kicker on Friday and we were stoked to see him make the final. Then Saturday saw a huge snowboard showdown with Westbeach’s Andy Nudds, Sean Tumelty & Jesse Smith all going hard in the Whitelines Battle of Britain Comp. But it was Rome’s Dom Harington who claimed the title in style, going massive and stomping every thing. Then it was time for the international competition,  up against some of the biggest names in snowboarding including Halldor Helgason, Jamie Nichols and  Stale Sandbech, Billy Morgan killed it for the UK.  Throwing down textbook backside 1260 double corks and double rodeos then stomping a huge backside rodeo in the super final, becoming the first British winner of the London Freeze Big Air. We are STOKED for him!.  This is the biggest international win in Billy’s career to date and he took home a well deserved £5000!

Good work dudes. We’re pumped for winter now and there has been more snow in Morzine this week!

Don’t forget it’s the Ski and Snowboard Show this week, come see us at our Westbeach Treeline Stand no.73 and win some goodies!
