What’s included in your winter property
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our properties over the coming weeks. Below is some essential information that we hope will help you prepare for your stay.
WHAT’S PROVIDED IN YOUR PROPERTY:
Linen and Bedding:
All bed linen is provided and beds pre-made for the number of guests that you have booked with us. Hand towels and bath towels are provided for the same number of guests. Please ensure that you have shared details of the number of guests and your preferred bed configuration with our team in advance of your arrival.
Hot tub towels are not provided, you will need to bring these with you as required.
If your property has a hot tub, you may also like to bring flip flops for using it.
If you have requested a travel cot and high chair these will also be available for you in the property; please make sure to bring bed linen for the cot.
Kitchens:
All of our properties are equipped with basic kitchen equipment including pots, pans and cooking utensils.
They all have sufficient crockery, cutlery and glassware for the total number of guests the property sleeps.
A starter pack of tea and coffee (suitable to the coffee facilities provided) is also provided along with a carton of milk. Sugar, oil, salt and pepper are also provided.
An under sink cleaning pack is provided for your convenience including:
- Dishwasher tablets
- Washing up Liquid
- Dish cloth and Sponge
- Bin Bags
- Antibacterial Spray
- Toilet Cleaner
Other:
If your property has a log burner or fire, contact us to order wood or a fire kit.
Toilet Paper (2 rolls per toilet) is provided. You can purchase additional toilet paper in the local supermarkets if necessary.
In each bathroom, we’ll provide a small selection of travel toiletries for your use, including shampoo, shower gel and soap.
Washing Powder is not provided but you will often find some left behind by the previous guests. In this case, you are very welcome to use it and may even like to extend the same courtesy by leaving some behind/replacing it for the next guests if it’s finished.
Friendly reminder:
We ask that outdoor shoes aren’t worn inside the property, so it’s worth bringing indoor shoes/slippers.
Please report any accidents or breakages so we can resolve any issues for you and ahead of the next guests arriving.
Local shops for Grocery shopping:
Here are a few local supermarkets that are probably easiest to stock up from:
- Carrefour, Morzine: 141 bis Rte du Plan, 74110 Morzine, France
- Carrefour, St Jean d’Aulps: 4679 Rte des Grandes Alpes, 74430 Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, France
- Spar, Morzine: 106 Rte de la Plagne, 74110 Morzine, France
- Casino, Morzine: 535 Rte de la Plagne, 74110 Morzine, France
If you like to be organised ahead of your trip, we recommend the Carrefour drive click and collect service:
Morzine: https://www.carrefour.fr/magasin/market-morzine/drive
OR
St Jean d’Aulps https://www.carrefour.fr/magasin/market-saint-jean-d-aulps/drive
You can order your groceries for collection at Carrefour, Morzine or St Jean d’Aulps, within a 1-hour time slot. In Morzine, the collection point is on the right hand side of the main entrance to Carrefour, opposite the InterSport. St Jean d’Aulps is a far larger supermarket with a great range, at better value but is a 15 min drive down the mountain.
Fuel:
The nearest petrol station is also located at Carrefour, St Jean d’Aulps: 4679 Rte des Grandes Alpes, 74430 Saint-Jean-d’Aulps, France. If you are driving to Morzine via Thonon, you will likely pass this fuel station on your way in; a perfect time to refuel & collect groceries.
