Morzine town offers some fabulous eating-out options, both for dinner and lunch.

However, if you’re out on the mountain or exploring the surrounding areas this summer, we recommend the following as good lunchtime spots:

At the lake

Lac Montriond boasts a few restaurants now, but our favourite is the newly opened Hotel du Lac. Serving classic French cuisine, you can expect local trout, great veggie options & rich meat dishes.

On the Plateau

La Pointe de Nyon is the perfect restaurant for exploring the Nyon plateau and watching the Birds of Prey show which is based there, as well as enjoying a delicious French meal.

Up the mountain

Take the Super Morzine gondola up to experience this well-established restaurant, La Grenouille du Marais. Enjoy excellent views, friendly service and yummy meals.

By the river

Les Lindarets hosts a plethora of restaurants, both in the goat village and further up next to the river and top of the Ardent lift. Try Mamo’s Café for light, simple food and enjoy watching the world go by on the sunny terrace.

Down by the big lake

If you make it down to Lac Leman, only a short drive from Morzine, you’ll find some gorgeous restaurants by the water. For a memorable meal L’Oxxy beach is a beach bar on the waters edge and offers pedalo hire as well.
