Families and Children
The perfect family snow holiday destination!
Morzine is a fantastic destination for families with children of all ages and there are a variety of brilliant ski schools available to choose from. The learning slope and magic carpet (newly covered so great in all weathers) at the top of the Pleney is a fantastic facility for the young ones to find their feet and the wide treelined greens and blues in the Morzine / Les Gets area provide plenty of space to progress. Meanwhile, the more experienced kids can show off their skills in the Mini Stash on the Super Morzine or graded features in the snowparks of Avoriaz. There are also plenty of non-skiing activities available including an open air ice rink in the centre of town, a Carousel and the fantastic indoor swimming pool complex (with warm baby pool). Speak to our team to learn more about our family friendly chalets and to help plan the perfect winter getaway!

Restaurants and Bars
Eating out in Morzine...
Morzine is full of fanatastic restaurants with something to suit everyone, from fondues through to fine dining restaurants, we can recommend and book these for your chalet staff nights off. The Haute Savoie cuisine includes a host of locally produced delicious cheeses (such as Abondance and Raclette), and classic meat dishes such as a Potence (steak cooked to your taste, and flambeed with whisky at your table) or Cassolette.
There are family friendly restaurants which deal with large groups superbly (L’Etale) and small family run businesses (Clin D’Oeil). For a more informal setting, Morzine also hosts a micro-brewery with a regularly changing delicious menu (Le Bec Jaune) and there are also a few takeaway options available.
Chat with your chalet hosts or the office team to help select the best option for your group! We highly recommend booking in advance for large groups.
Après & Nightlife
From wine bars to lively apres..
Morzine has a great nightlife with plenty of busy bars, pubs and events throughout the week. There are various après events that happen on certain evenings every week with live music and DJs playing at the Happy Hours bar and Cafe Chaud Morzine. Ask us in resort for the weekly goings on in resort or check our Instagram page.
The Portes du Soleil also hosts an amazing outdoor music festival each March, called Rock the Pistes which is free for ski pass holders!! What could be better than enjoy some live music whilst exploring the pistes! Taking place every March, it’s a great week of concerts on the pistes all over the Portes du Soleil.
