What's the difference between the lift pass types?

There are 2 types of pass available:

  • a Portes du Soliel (PDS) pass which covers the ‘full area’
  • a Morzine/Lesgets pass which covers the ‘local area’

A full area lift pass offers a much greater ski area (including the local area) & a bigger variety of terrain. The local area offers a good area for beginners and young families and those is ski school may only require a local area pass. Price wise, a local area pass (adult 6 day) costs less than a full area PDS pass as it is a smaller area.  You can see the full pricing here >>

Avoriaz area passes are available for 1 or 2 days only.
