Head Housekeeper

We require a head housekeeper to run our changeover team this winter, ensuring our very high standards of cleanliness are maintained, always going above and beyond. We are looking for a motivated individual who excels in a hospitality environment and has a love for the mountains.

Job Description:

​This is a key role within our company over the winter, as our guest’s holiday enjoyment comes down to the quality and standard of their accommodation. We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail and an exacting standard as they will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the chalets, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. The right candidate will be organised, and able to motivate a team of housekeepers to give their best every weekend under tight time pressure. This is a full time, seasonal position and will require someone who is able to work all day Saturday and Sunday as part of the cleaning team to ensure all properties are turned over in a timely manner for new arrivals, plus split shifts during the week.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in French (will need to liaise with french suppliers such as the laundrette)
  • Highly proficient at cleaning to maintain our high standards of cleanliness in the chalets
  • Exacting standards ensuring our chalets are maintained correctly for our guests to enjoy
  • Great customer service 
  • Highly organised and computer literate: experience with G-Suite and microsoft office essential
  • Positive attitude, happy to work hard and be patient
  • Love of the mountains
  • Self sufficient and assertive
  • Attention to detail
