Most excitingly – there is a new viewing platform on Nyon. Situated at the summit of Nyon, (2109m) a new 15m walkway offers a unique experience as the mountains drop away 350m beneath you. If you don’t want to look down (understandable), you can keep looking up and enjoy the stunning mountain panorama panning from Lake Geneva to Mont Blanc. Access is completely free and possible for skiers/snowboarders/tourers via the top of the Nyon chairlift.

Morzine has a partnership with the Eagles of Léman (Aigles du Léman) so visitors can enjoy the unique experience of falconry on the mountain for free. There are nature walks to explore (accompanied by eagles) as well as flight demonstrations to spectate. Access is from the top of the Nyon cable car, where you can find informative signposts on the mountain life of raptors or view the flight demonstrations which take place from the large terrace of the restaurant on the Nyon plateau. There has been a recent remodelling of the red Aigle run, from the summit of Nyon at 2019 metres down to the Nyon plateau at 1413m. The 2km run will be 3 times wider – not to be missed!

Skiers and snowboarders can try the new XL boarder cross route starting from the top the Raverettes chair. The snow park has been reshaped and enlarged too, with new features which have been shaped from an earth base – so will be consistent through the season.

A new covered escalator will transport skiers, snowboarders and pedestrians from the Nyon car park to the departure point of the Nyon cable car with comfort and zero effort. An excellent addition for those in ski boots!

Finally, the picnic room on the Non Plateau has been refreshed and newly decorated – a great spot to enjoy your mountain packed lunch!
