Pass’Portes 2021 is on!

Roll on the summer and all the outdoor activities! Here in the Portes du Soleil we’re kicking the summer season off with a bang with the return of the annual Pass’Portes du Soliel event.

If you’ve never heard of it before but are a keen Mountain Biker it’s worth taking a look. With 80km of MTB track, 720m of uphill and (crucially) 5,700m of downhill it’s a great event to push yourself further than you normally might but with the promise of plenty of food and beverage stops along the way. What makes this event really special is that over it’s 80km route, you visit all of the french resorts in the Portes Du Soleil.

Not convinced? The food stations should help with that. You’ll find local Sausages in Châtel, Tartiflette in Les Lindarets, chocolate fondue in Morzine and BBQ in Les Gets.

This year, for covid related Health & Safety reasons, the event will be held over two weekends ensuring the same number of participants will be able to partake as usual. The route will also avoid cycling through Switzerland, remaining on the French side of the border. For more information on taking part, head to the events official website.
