• Pleney late night opening (until 7pm) every Tuesday and Thursday from 11th July to 31st August (subject to weather conditions)
• Super Morzine and Zore late night opening (until 7pm) on Fridays!
• UCI Mountain Bike World Series returns to Les Gets in July

JUNE

• 14 June : Continuous opening of the mountain lifts commences for pedestrians/hikers/mountain bikers. See the full list of lift opening here >
• 17 June (tbc) : Morzine outdoor swimming pool complex intends to open on Wednesdays and weekends (subject to weather), daily opening then follows.
• 28 – 30 June : Pass’Portes du Soliel. 2024 is the 20th anniversary of this legendary event which we absolutely love! A great Mountain bike event to discover the Portes du Soliel! More details >>
• 29 June : Aquariaz in Avoriaz (Europe’s highest water park) opens (until 30th August). Open daily from 1.30pm – 7.30pm and included in the Portes du Soleil Multi Pass!

JULY

• 4 – 7 July : UCI Mountain Bike World Series returns this summer, with the Cross Country & Downhill events taking place in Les Gets
• 5 – 7 July : Spartan –  With various courses to choose from and courses for children too, it’s a great fun event full of obstacles and epic views. Full details >> 
• 6 July : The summer luge opens and runs until 1st September. Take in the views and make your way down the tracks of the winding Pleney slopes. Multi Pass holders get a discount too. More details >>
• 6 – 7 July : Savoie Mont Blanc Freestyle Tour by FISE in Avoriaz – demos and contests on a skatepark in the centre of Avoriaz (which will stay in place all summer!)
• 11 – 14 July : Harley Days – this bi-annual event takes over town for a few days with free music concerts, lots of stalls and more than 10,000 motorcycles in town!
• 14 July : Bastille Day. The French national holiday means Morzine will be ‘en fete’, so expect fireworks, events and ‘beaucoup de’ French spirit.
• 15 – 19 July : Morzine’s Nature Festival, a week of well being! There will be workshops, fitness classes, pilates, yoga, organised hikes, and more… Program to be released soon by the tourist office >>
• 21 July : Adopt 1 Col – calling all road cyclists! The Col du Joux Plane will be closed to motor traffic from 8am to 11.30am and reserved for cyclists, giving the perfect opportunity to enjoy this iconic pass and its breathtaking scenery. More details >> 
• 22 – 26 July : Kingdom of Children – a week of free activities for kids and families taking place every day by the tourist office between 10am and 7pm.
• 31 July : Morzine Plage – a beach arrives in town for 2 days of family fun in the sun. Sandpits, workshops, face painting and lots of deck chairs to soak up the rays. Located by the tourist office and completely free.

AUGUST

• 1 Aug: Morzine Plage – a beach arrives in town for 2 days of family fun in the sun. Sandpits, workshops, face painting and lots of deck chairs to soak up the rays. All for free!
• 3 Aug: Fete du Lac from 4pm. Enjoy a spectacular firework display and music by the gorgeous Lake Montriond, with this years theme being the Olympics!
• 5 – 9 August : The Kingdom of Children returns for a second week – a  week of free activities for kids and families taking place every day by the tourist office between 10am and 7pm.
• 10 Aug: Trails de Hauts Forts – linking Morzine to Avoriaz at an altitude of 1800m, this trail race takes you through the most beautiful panoramas of the Portes du Soleil. There are 4 different races to choose from, more details here >>

SEPTEMBER

• 5 – 7 Sept: Mont Blanc Morzine Rally – rally lovers descend on Morzine for 2 days, to watch cars race over the local cols.
