We think spring is the best time for a family ski or snowboard holiday in Morzine and here’s why:
Reduced pass prices and kids ski FREE!
From 30th March, weekly pass prices drop in price by 15 % and the Portes Du Soliel offers of 1 free child pass (under 12 years) with every adult PDS 6 day pass purchased! This can save you a whopping €169 per child under 12 years of age.
Great Value
In comparison to other school holiday weeks, spring offers lower prices and incredible value for family ski holidays! We book up fast for the Easter holidays each year because of this, so contact us now to find out about April in Morzine or check out our special offers. Limited availability remaining for Easter 2019!
Sunshine
Late March and April brings sunnier days, which means lovely soft snow, ideal for children (and adults) learning to ski and snowboard. With the warmer temperature, there’s less worry about children getting cold on the mountain – just pack the sunscreen! It’s also the perfect time to get in the park during your holiday if you want to progress your freestyle skills.
Longer days
With lifts open from 8.45am through to 4.45pm across the Portes du Soliel, the lighter days mean you can really maximise your mountain time. Take a long break at lunch with the kids or have a late start one morning if the children need some rest.
Picnics on the Piste
Picnics on the pistes can save you lots of money in comparison to eating lunch at mountain restaurants everyday. Nothing beats a fresh baguette or pastry! We have some recommended bakery stops on the mountain too so you can pick up easily when in Avoriaz and find a lovely scenic spot to enjoy your lunch.
Lots to do for children!
From swimming, ice-skating, Aquariaz flumes, horse sleigh rides, hidden treehouses and banana swings – there is so much to discover in the Morzine & Avoriaz for little ones when on and off the mountain!
